In our 3-day practical course "Training Alpacas for Therapy Purposes", you will learn to train and lead alpacas safely, gently and expertly. From the basics of behaviour, through haltering and leading, to desensitisation, obstacle courses and certification as a therapy animal, one thing is at the heart of it all: hands-on work with the alpacas.
You will experience different animals, gain your own experience, and get to know the effect alpacas have on seniors, children and people with disabilities.
For alpaca enthusiasts, therapists, educators and anyone who wants to use alpacas professionally for animal-assisted activities.
